As part of its Sesquicentenary Celebrations, the Government Law College has planned a lecture series. The first lecture in this series was delivered by Mr Justice PN Bhagwati, former Chief Justice of India, on Public Interest Litigation on Saturday August 27.

Mr Justice BN Srikrishna, Judge, Supreme Court of India will deliver the second lecture in the series on Judicial Restraint. This lecture will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2005 at 10:00 am in the GLC Auditorium.

Mr Justice YV Chandrachud, former Chief Justice of India, will deliver the third lecture, on The Basic Structure of the Constitution and its Contemporary Relevance on Saturday, September 24, 2005 at 10:00 in the GLC Auditorium.
