The Honorary Secretary of the Association has convened an Extraordinary General Emergency Meeting at 2.20 p.m. of the Bar Association to consider and, if thought fit, to pass the following Resolution and thereafter for members of the Bar to congregate outside the High Court Building (Honkong Bank Entrance) at 2.45 p.m. on Thursday, 18th August, 2011 in support of the movement against corruption led by Shri. Anna Hazare.

IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED THAT this House supports the movement against Corruption led by Shri. Anna Hazare.

This House also condemns the Action initiated by the police preventing Shri. Anna Hazare and his team from conducting their protest in Delhi.

This House calls upon the Government to forthwith withdraw the restrictions imposed on Shri. Anna Hazare and his team.”
