In Memoriam : Justice VD Tulzapurkar
FULL COURT REFERENCE
There will be a Full Court Reference on Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at 11:00 am in the Central Court, presided over by the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Shri Dalveer Bhandari to the late Mr Justice VD Tulzapurkar, retired judge of the Supreme Court who passed away on Friday, October 1, 2004.
All courts will be in session after the Reference is over.
PUBLIC CONDOLENCE MEETING
On Thursday, October 14, 2004, a public condolence meeting for the late Mr Justice VD Tulzapurkar will be held at 6 pm in the Conference Room of the Indian Merchants' Chamber.
This meeting has been jointly arranged by, among others,
- the People’s Union for Civil Liberties,
- Citizens for Democracy,
- Mani Bhavan Trust,
- the Indian Radical Humanist Association,
- the Bombay Bar Association and
- the Bombay Incorporated Law Society
Mr Justice YV Chandrachud (retired), Mr Ram Jethmalani, Senior Advocate and Mr Iqbal Chagla, Senior Advocate, will speak at the meeting.
The meeting is open to all.
